Lee Shidlofsky is a founding member of Shidlofsky Law Firm PLLC where he heads up the Insurance Law Practice Group. The Insurance Law Practice Group represents corporate policyholders that are in disputes with their insurance companies, provides advice to plaintiffs in complex litigation on how to best maximize an insurance recovery, and provides risk-management consultation in connection with contractual risk transfer issues. The Insurance Law Practice Group has handled a wide variety of first-party and third-party insurance claims (e.g., D&O, E&O, "personal and advertising injury liability," construction defect, commercial property, business interruption, pollution, and commercial auto) in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate court levels. Shidlofsky Law Firm PLLC is ranked as a Top Insurance Coverage Firm by Chambers USA and Best Lawyers of America®.
A significant part of Lee's practice includes mediation of multi-party construction defect and design cases as well as insurance coverage matters. In addition, Lee serves as an independent neutral arbitrator in insurance-related matters.
Lee is a Fellow to the American College of Construction Lawyers and also currently serves on the AGC-TBB Legal Affairs Committee. He is a Past Chair of the Insurance Law Section and formerly held a council position and Insurance Liaison position with the Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. Lee is the author of numerous articles and seminar papers and is a frequent speaker at continuing legal education seminars in Texas and across the country.
Since 2019, Chambers has ranked Lee as a Star Individual for Insurance Coverage and Band 1 for Construction. He also has been named a "Super Lawyer" by Texas Monthly Magazine since 2004, including a ranking as a Top 50 attorney in the Central and West Texas Region since 2007 and a Top 100 attorney statewide since 2016. Douglas P. Skelley is a Member at Shidlofsky Law Firm PLLC. His practice involves representing and counseling corporate policyholders in the area of insurance coverage and insurance-related litigation. He handles a wide variety of insurance coverage cases, including those arising from construction defect and product liability claims. Doug also represents corporate policyholders in first-party property insurance coverage disputes.
Doug is a member of the Insurance Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, where he currently serves as Chair on the Council and is Editor of Right Off The Press, an e-mail distributing recent Texas cases bearing on insurance law. Doug also is on the Council for the Construction Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, serving as the Insurance Liaison. In addition, he is a member of the Construction Law Section of the Austin Bar Association. He is the co-author and a presenter of several articles and seminar papers for continuing legal education seminars in Texas.
Doug has been named as a Super Lawyer for 2021 and previously was named as a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers Magazine each year from 2010 to 2020. He also was named one of the Top 100 Up and Coming Lawyers in the State of Texas in 2019 and 2020. Doug was recognized as an "Associate to Watch" by Chambers USA in 2013 and 2014 and as a Top Attorney for Insurance each year since 2015.
Doug graduated cum laude from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Indiana Journal of Global Legal Studies. Doug also graduated cum laude from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and was a member of Chi Epsilon, the Civil Engineering Honor Society.

Rebecca DiMasi is a member at Shidlofsky Law Firm PLLC. She represents and counsels corporate policyholders in complex coverage litigation and in connection with other suits where coverage issues affect strategy or outcome. She has over 22 years of experience handling coverage cases involving general liability, commercial property, commercial auto, professional liability and directors and officers coverage, with a significant portion of her practice dedicated to construction defect claims.
Rebecca served as the Publications Editor for the governing Council of the Insurance Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and the Editor of the Journal of Texas Insurance Law from 2018 to 2021. She was recently elected Treasurer of the Council. She is also a member of the Construction Law Section of the State Bar and serves on the Construction Law Journal Editorial Board. She has been named a "Super Lawyer" in insurance coverage since 2016, and before that was named a "Rising Star." She is also AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Rebecca has written numerous papers on insurance issues, is a frequent speaker on insurance topics, and has served on multiple planning committees for insurance seminars.
Rebecca graduated cum laude from Baylor Law School, where she served as Managing Editor of the Baylor Law Review and was a member of the moot court team and the Order of the Barristers. After law school, Rebecca served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sam D. Johnson of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Tracy joined the team in 2017, bringing with her more than 20 years of experience in legal support. In addition to managing the day-to-day administration of the Firm and bookkeeping, Tracy also assists Lee with his mediation practice from scheduling mediations to closing them out following settlement. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys spending time with family.
